Kingwood Ballet
Kingwood Ballet (KB) is a classical, pre-professional ballet company under the artistic direction of Kelly Agnew. As a non-profit 501(c) 3 company we rely solely on the support of our community.
KB (a DBA company of Kingwood Dance Theatre) was founded by Sheryl Rowland in 1984 when she saw a void in the performing arts and ballet performance in the Humble/Kingwood area. Sheryl began her training at an early age in Houston with Emmamae Horn and the Houston Ballet Academy. She also trained in New York at the American Ballet Theatre School and the Ballet Repertory School. Sheryl danced professionally with the Houston Ballet and in summer stock at Houston Music Theatre. Kelly Agnew joined Sheryl as co-artistic director in 2019.
